Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) has agreed to commit up to $100 million to a newly created separate account with AgIS Capital, as disclosed to Agri Investor by a contact at the firm. AgIS Capital is a permanent crops-focused farmland manager.

TRSL has made three commitments focused on agriculture in 2018 and 2019, which combined constitute $275 million.
