The African Development Bank has produced a report that reviews the importance of agriculture and agro-industry for inclusive growth and food security in Africa.
The report looks at the part played by agriculture in achieving such growth, given the context of  increasing global demand for agricultural commodities and expected population growth on the African continent.
It sets out to examine the requirements of inclusive and green growth in the sector and recommends strategic interventions that could be made.
