Agribusiness stalwart Rabobank has announced that Gregory Hutton has joined its renewable energy and infrastructure finance (REIF) team for North and Latin America – a venture the Netherlands-based financial services concern started in 2009.
Rabobank named Hutton, based in New York, executive director and senior originator, according to a press release announcing his hiring. A voicemail message left for Hutton was not returned.
Hutton had been working as a vice president for project finance in the power and environment team with UniCredit Bank. Prior to UniCredit, he was vice president of energy for HSH Nordbank.
A Columbia University graduate, Hutton began his project finance career with Dexia.
Mainly rooted in agribusiness, Rabobank also has a REIF business in Europe and Asia, as well as America.
The company has boasted “rapid growth” for its North and Latin America venture. According to Rabobank, the team is typically focused on Canada and the US.
