Soros Economic Development Fund, a development arm of the Soros Foundation, has committed €4 million to Yield Uganda Investment Fund. The fund, managed by Pearl Capital Partners, focuses on debt and equity investments of around €1 million in small and growing agribusinesses in Uganda.
As illustrated below, this is the foundation’s second commitment to an agriculture fund, having previously committed to 2008 vintage IGNIA Fund I.
