Stafford Capital bolstering timber team with new hires – exclusive

The fund of funds house is looking to fill two new roles in Sydney and London after recently hiring an investment analyst in Sydney.

Stafford Capital Partners, the fund of funds house, is expanding its timber investment team following the close of Stafford International Timberland Fund VII last month.

The firm has recently hired a new investment analyst in Sydney and is now on the hunt for two more timber team members to fill roles in Sydney and London: a research analysis assistant role and an investment support role respectively.

Dan Rocca has joined from Poyry Management Consulting, where he was an analyst based in Auckland and most recently Melbourne, for three and a half years. He is now investment analyst for Stafford’s timber team and based in Sydney.

Stafford closed Fund VII on $484 million last month after exceeding its $400 million target and getting commitments from the UK, Europe and Australia including the Essex Pension Fund in the UK which committed £41 million ($63 million, €58 million) to the fund.
