Colliers International, the real estate company, has hired Shaun Hendy as director of valuation in the rural & agribusiness department.
In this newly-created role, Hendy will be responsible for expanding the valuation team in northern Australia and he is looking to recruit three to four new valuers to service banking and private clients, institutions and investors. His team will aim to provide these clients with strategic property advice on their rural and agribusiness assets, including due diligence help and investment analysis.
Hendy is Colliers’ latest hire as its expands the rural & agribusiness department; its most recent appointment was of Richard Royle as director last summer.
Hendy joins from CBRE, the global real estate company, where he was director of agribusiness valuations and was responsible for Queensland and the Northern Territory of Australia. He has also worked in the valuation departments a m3property and Herron Todd White and has 25 years of industry experience. He is a qualified agricultural economist.
Hendy will work out of the company’s Toowoomba and Brisbane offices working across Queensland, northern Australia regions and northern New South Wales.
