NPS approves $150m commitment

The South Korean public pension has backed a timberland fund.

National Pension Service of Korea (NPS) has agreed to commit $150 million to Stafford International Timberland Fund IX, which is managed by Stafford Capital Partners. By investing into the fund, NPS will get exposure to a diverse global timberland portfolio acquired mainly through a secondaries investment strategy.
